Wow, Cory, this post was truly a gift! Well, the others have been equally outstanding and the practical steps you include in this forum make incremental changes accessible for busy people. For example, I am already making green drinks a few times a week so now I'll add vitamin C and maybe the B-12 liquid if it tastes okay. Going for the lemon water in the morning instead of a quick sip of water and then onto the mate and coffee will also make a difference. I am mostly plant based but do eat fish, and I especially appreciated the reminder to lose the myopic view that I HAVE to eat fish to get enough protein (I don't process grains, beans, legumes, etc. very well so I avoid them). Getting back to quinoa will help. And sooo many other tidbits of adding more value to what I am doing and keeping a commitment to myself to stop sabotaging myself by "cheating" with cheese and bread on "special occasions" -- not good for someone who is dealing with a resurgence of candidiasis. Basically, embracing the healthy, light and energetic me (I did have that once) IN MY MIND before I even see signs of improvement is key. I will manifest whatever reality I hold in my consciousness -- healthy or struggling. I have to feel and believe it before I can make it happen, otherwise it stays an unattainable mirage that I never quite reach.
So glad you’ve gotten so much out of the post Lisa! I don’t think you need to let the fish go totally. Up to you. I do micro-portions of fish and chicken on occasion. But cutting back on bread and cheese would be more cleansing. Just my two cents.
